A soldier may survive a broken arm or leg, but hardly can a
soldier survive a broken head. Therefore, no ancient Roman soldier
go to the battle without protecting his head (which is the primary
target of his enemy) with his helmet made of heavy molded or beaten
metal.
Similarly, believer's head (mind) is the primary target of the
devil. Therefore, every believer must always put on a Helmet of the
Hope of Salvation, which God has graciously prepared and made
available to us in Christ (Eph. 6:17, 1 Thess. 5:8).
This enlightening and inspiring teaching (Part 5 in a series of 6)
aptly explains what is the Hope of Salvation, why it is the
believer's helmet against Satan's attacks on his mind, and how to
put it on.
