God's ultimate destiny for you is to attain Christ-likeness - to be fully conformed to the image of Jesus Christ in every aspect. The Holy Spirit is on a mission to accomplish this in your life (Rom. 8:29, Eph. 4:13, 1 John 3:2).
While the Holy Spirit has started the transformation process into Christ-likeness in your heart at the New Birth when He instantly transformed your spirit into the likeness of Christ, He seeks to continue the process in your soul until the full revelation of Christ when He will instantly transform your body to be conformed to Christ's glorious body (2 Cor. 3:18, Phil. 3:20-21).
